Porsche Panamera Vehicle & Model Description Porsche Panamera We have a number of Porsches within the Museum Collection. A lot of people associate Porsche only in regards to their sports and racing cars. But Porsche has attempted to explore the luxury end of the passenger vehicle market. And so we have the Porsche Panamera. Our model demonstrates this attempt. The model as it stands is not bad. But it does have faults in quality control, in which it suffers from a little body panels not fitting as it should. But apart from this. a little bit more effort should have been spent on the engine, which suffers from simply pressed into a single piece that does not display the engine to its potential. Its a 1:18 scale, yet the engine design would be more of something that one would expect from a 1:24 or a 1:32 scale. The interior and instrument panel is better in which that time has been spent ensuring that the luxury of the real vehicle has been spent insuring that this model shows this. Doors open wide and the hatchback rear opens up to allow excellent viewing of it. Overall apart from those areas that should have had that extra efforts spent on it. The Porsche Panamera is a luxury brand from a premier maker of this type of vehicle, would to have a better Model. Overall I will give it a 4.0/5.0. Robin Finlay 09/08/2022. < Back 2010 Camaro SS RS 18 - AV109 - 22 - 01 Chevrolet Camaro (fifth generation) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is a pony car that was manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 2010 to 2015 model years. It is the fifth distinct generation of the muscle/pony car to be produced since its original introduction in 1967. Production of the fifth generation model began on March 16, 2009 after several years on hiatus since the previous generation's production ended in 2002 and went on sale to the public in April 2009 for the 2010 model year. Camaro (2009-2015) Interior (automatic model) The Camaro was made available as a coupe in five different trim levels; the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. The LS and LT trim levels are powered by the 3,564 cc (217 cu in) GM LLT V6 engine having a power output of 312 hp (233 kW) at 6,400 rpm and 273 lb⋅ft (370 N⋅m) of torque at 5,200 rpm. The SS with manual transmission is powered by the 6.2 L (6,162 cc or 376 cu in) GM LS3 V8 engine rated at 426 hp (318 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 420 lb⋅ft (569 N⋅m) of torque at 4,600 rpm while the SS with automatic transmission is powered by a new variant of the LS3 called the GM L99 which produces 400 hp (298 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 410 lb⋅ft (556 N⋅m) of torque at 4,300 rpm. The L99 V8 engine, not to be confused with the earlier LT-series L99, uses Active Fuel Management which enables the engine to run on only four cylinders during urban driving conditions, such as highway cruising, to improve fuel economy. Other features include a fully independent four-wheel suspension system, variable-rate power steering, four-wheel disc brakes standard on all models (four-piston Brembo callipers on SS models), a StabiliTrak electronic stability/traction control system, Competitive/Sport modes for the stability system offered on SS models, launch control on SS models equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, and six standard airbags that include head curtain side-impact airbags and front seat-mounted thorax side airbags. An RS appearance package was available on LT and SS trim levels which included HID headlamps with integrated halo rings, a rear spoiler, and RS-specific taillamps and wheels. Rally and hockey stripe packages were made available in several colours as well.
